The Bolden Company
A sensibility of sophistication and authenticity guides the approach of the Bolden Company in their pursuit to serve the beauty needs of a discerning audience. These guiding principles needed to be honored in the design of the brand identity, the packaging and marketing elements.
The Bolden brand was set to be launched in Africa markets as well as within North America. We needed to develop something that would resonate authentically with a discerning African audience, yet appeal beyond the borders of the great continent.
Approach
Our secret sauce for this engagement was to embrace the marriage between the elegant and the organic. In representing a premium product, our design solutions evolved to be refined and clever. Our color palette shaped up to be a contemporary use of black and white; allowing for the introduction of complimentary colors that would showcase various product lines. This rewarding engagement led to a strong showing for Bolden on the shelves of premium beauty purveyors, and some pretty sweet magazine write-ups.
